About Xi Yi

Xi is a Senior Sustainability Architect at AWS Data Center Engineering, with a keen focus on data center carbon footprint reduction throughout the building life cycle. She is dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of data centers while maintaining high levels of operational efficiency and service quality. Before joining AWS, Xi worked with renowned architectural firms Herzog & de Meuron and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture (AS+GG). She is a licensed architect in the State of New York and holds LEED and CEEQUAL certifications. Xi earned her Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University.
