ABOUT XIAOFENG GUO
Xiaofeng GUO is full professor at the faculty of sciences, University Paris Cité. He is researcher at PIERI - LIED lab, belonging to the CNRS. He is responsable for bachelor program of University Institute of Technology IUT Paris Pajol. Since 2023, he is appointed Chair for European University Alliance, Circle-U. Prior to joining Univ de Paris, he was Associate Professor at ESIEE Paris, graduate school of engineering of the Université Gustave Eiffel. His teaching and research interests cover the field of Renewable Energy (Solar, geothermal, etc.), Energy Efficiency in Buildings as well as Process Engineering (Process Intensification, multifunctional heat exchanger, reactor characterisation, micromixing, acoustic streaming). He served as course director of the Engineer diploma (ingénieur) in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in ESIEE Paris. He is responsible for 3 years courses from basic thermodynamic fundamentals to engineering energy applications. Currently he supervises 2 PhD candidates and guides regularly 2-3 MSc each year.During 20••••17, he participates as a research fellow in EFFICACITY, a French institute on the urban energy transition. Xiaofeng GUO joined ESIEE Paris in Oct. 2013 as an Assistant Professor. Previously he got a PhD degree in Energy and Process Engineering from University of Grenoble (Sep. 2013), France, as well as a Master degree of Engineering in Refrigeration and Cryogenics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Mar. 2010), China. He studied Thermal Energy and Power Engineering in Wuhan University of Technology (20••••07), China, where he obtained his Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering. In 2021 he got his HDR - Habilitation degree from the Faculté des Sciences, Université de Paris. He has confirmed experience in both industrial and basic research, dealing with various energy-related subjects including Heat Pump Water Heater systems, Solar thermal systems, Chemical exchanger-reactor, process control system, etc. Most of them are industrial oriented and direct to application. He has published around 20 peer-reviewed papers, conference presentations and patents. He speaks Chinese as his mother language. French and English are his professional using languages.Xiaofeng GUO is available for various industrial or academic research topics.
