As Safety + Risk Manager, I lead strategic safety initiatives across our organization to ensure regulatory compliance, staff well-being, and a culture of proactive risk management. I design and implement programs that align with OSHA standards and integrate inclusive practices to support a diverse workforce.I oversee all employee safety training, including quarterly Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification, and develop customized training modules used organization-wide. My work includes coordinating vendor-led safety services, maintaining compliance records, performing risk assessments, and leading the Safety Committee to promote employee engagement in safety culture.In addition to conducting routine safety audits and environmental health checks, I serve as the administrative backup to the Associate Director of Safety + Security. I collaborate across departments to streamline safety communication, ensure timely reporting of incidents, and provide clear guidance on evolving safety protocols.Key responsibilities include- Designing and delivering internal safety training programs- Developing content through training platforms including eSafety and NSC- Managing third-party services like forklift certification and hearing protection- Leading quarterly audits, inspections, trainings, and safety committee meetings- Monitoring and maintaining inventory for emergency supplies- Supporting Emergency Crisis Action Plan development and documentation- Providing consistent support and cross-departmental coordinationI apply strong communication and organizational skills to keep safety messaging clear and impactful. My technical proficiency in writing, producing, and content creation enhances the delivery of critical safety information in both live and recorded formats.
