About Xavier McQuiston
Experienced CAR-T manufacturing and pharma professional in a technology MES role. I am excited to continue pushing manufacturing forward with technology innovation and process improvements. I helped lead a CAR-T manufacturing startup team at AstraZeneca for clinical and commercial production at a startup site and division within AstraZeneca. At Kite Pharma, a subsidiary of Gilead Sciences and a Fortune 500 company, I helped advance cell therapy for hematologic cancers as evidenced by the successful progression of clinical trials and the initiation of two novel CAR-T cell therapies. My role in process development and validation has been instrumental in the transition from clinical to commercialization stages, particularly for R/R multiple myeloma treatments as well as NH lymphoma treatments. Harnessing my proficiencies in aseptic processing, cell isolation, and GMP compliance, I have played a pivotal part in the life cycle of several CAR-T cell therapies. My contributions to the team have been through meticulous execution of protocols and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within several cutting-edge facilities utilizing automation, MES, PAS-X, EBR, and other software and state-of-the-art hardware.
