I’m a researcher with over a decade of experience. My passion lies in addressing pressing urban issues through data science, analytics, and statistical modeling, all while maintaining a strong commercial mindset. My interests span housing, neighborhoods, transportation, urban economics, finance, policy, and economic development.I’m currently an economist at Fannie Mae, where I work within the Economics, Strategy, and Investor Relations team. I’ve contributed to several high-profile business programs using data-driven approaches and leveraging proprietary big data. Additionally, I provide market insights and intelligence and conduct academic-quality research. Before joining Fannie Mae, I worked at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and the NYU Furman Center for Real Estate & Urban Policy. I managed several research projects that resulted in widely circulated products. My academic background includes a doctoral degree in urban planning with a focus on housing policy and urban economics from UCLA, a master’s degree in urban planning from NYU, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from UC Berkeley.
