ABOUT XAVIER ZINN

Most systems fail quietly.Data mutates. Context erodes. Authority becomes ambiguous. Years later, institutions argue about what really happened.I design systems where truth survives time.My work focuses on structural truth not dashboards, not workflow tools, not collaboration layers. I architect trust systems where records are immutable, lineage is explicit, and authority is cryptographically enforced rather than socially assumed. This work evolved into what I call the Provenance of Truth frameworka practical architecture for ensuring that documents, decisions, and institutional records remain verifiable, non repudiable, and auditable across decades, not product cycles. At its core is a minimal container architecture enforcing append only history, cryptographic manifests, and governance finality. Surrounding it is a SoftHSM enforcement layer that enables human and institutional signing without exposing private keys to application logic. Presentation layers are treated as projections, never as sources of truth.I deliberately exclude collaboration features, mutable workflows, and convenience abstractions where they undermine guarantees. Simplicity here is defensive, not aesthetic. Before trust architecture, I spent over 25 years designing and operating large scale infrastructure across banking, mortgages, and regulated enterprises. That background matters. I understand how systems fail under audit, litigation, breach, and executive turnover.I now work at the intersection of• provenance and lineage• cryptographic authority models• immutable record systems• audit survivability• executive and regulatory risk translationTruth does not need consensus. It needs structure.
