Responsible for leading certification programs for civil unmanned aircraft systems in accordance with European regulatory frameworks, I oversee the full set of activities required to demonstrate compliance, from early design through final qualification and approval. This includes managing safety assessments like FHA, FMEA and DVR, and conducting operational risk analyses like SORA to enable unmanned aircrafts operations.My role spans the entire development lifecycle, ensuring that safety, reliability, and airworthiness principles are embedded in system architecture and engineering practices. As an expert in safety-critical software, I remain actively involved in software development myself (old habits die hard), contributing to architecture, implementation, and verification activities.
