Co-Founder of Metric- a Specialty Coffee Wholesaler & Retailer founded in 2013 in Chicago, IL by myself and business partner Darko Arandjelovic. Im 2012, we began a conversation around launching a coffee business, which led to us finding our beloved 1960\'s Probat- a machine we self funded and repaired without little to no prior mechanical or technical experience. After 4 years of organically growing our business here in Chicago, we opened a cafe inside our roastery called Metric West Fulton. Today we employ over 20 Full Time workers- all passionate and driven to make the best coffee possible and just last year, we launched Brite- a small batch bakery inside our Fulton street warehouse. As fas as coffee, we work with small holders and cooperatives in Central & South America along with one of the most dynamic coffee producers in East Africa (Ethiopia) and our goal is to Champion Quality, Transparency and Sustainability in Specialty Coffee.
