About Wyatt Swick

My determination, intensity, and work ethic has allowed me to stay on track on my school work, while financially running a fraternity. I am a junior at Oregon State University majoring in accounting and finance with minors in speech communication and economics. I am a brother and the current treasurer at the Theta Chi Sigma chapter. Which allows me to gain real world experience running a a year business. I carry a full class load and still maintain a strong G.P.A. I have to make sure all the brothers pay their dues and all the bills are paid on time. I do by myself what a whole management company would do. My position at the fraternity has given me the opportunity to utilize my ability to pay attention to details while keeping track of the house funds, and my organization skill to work successfully with people with a wide range of personalities and styles. In my spare time, I like to hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. Every Friday night, I volunteer my time at the Boys & Girls club of Corvallis. I look forward to finding an internship that will allow me to contribute to a company and gain further experience in a demanding business environment.

   Took over for a management company, created the budget from no previous financial records for the house• Redesigned the position of Treasurer, from a figurehead to the controller of the house funds•Simplified from four to, two bank accounts for the fraternity financials•Maintain confidentiality while allowing students to set up their payment plan for the term.•Set aside a budget and talked to contractors to fix the roof, gutters, and soon the foundation.
