ABOUT WYATT PIERCE
Ever since I was able to pay for a spring break trip with my friends because of investment decisions I made, I realized I have a real passion for finance. I enjoy making financial decisions—risk involved or not—that have the potential to grow wealth for the future and make a meaningful impact on my life. Currently, I am a student at the University of Kentucky pursuing a double major in Finance and Management. Alongside my academics, I have gained valuable professional experience through several roles. I am an intern at Wallace Hart Capital Management, where I am developing my understanding of investment strategy, portfolio management, and long-term wealth creation. I am also a Peer Tutor at the University of Kentucky, helping fellow students better understand business and math-related concepts by explaining complex topics in ways that match how each individual learns best. Entrepreneurship has also been an important part of my experience. During the summer, I co-owned and operated a mobile car detailing business, where I managed client relationships, scheduling, service quality, and financial decisions. This experience strengthened my work ethic, communication skills, and ability to deliver high-quality service directly to customers. Earlier in my college career, I worked at Walmart as an Online Order-Filling Associate in a collaborative environment focused on efficiently serving customers. In a department of over 50 associates, I received the highest number of customer satisfaction surveys, which resulted in recognition and perks for both myself and my department. Outside of work and academics, I am involved in the University of Kentucky YoungLife and Pickleball clubs and have participated in several intramural sports, including flag football and soccer. I am also attending the highly selective Early Wall Street Prep finance conference, where I continue to strengthen my knowledge of finance, Microsoft Excel, networking, and professional communication. In my free time, I enjoy long-distance running, playing pickleball, cooking, socializing with friends and family, and playing golf. These activities have helped shape my creativity, work ethic, and competitive mindset. Through my experiences in finance, entrepreneurship, and leadership, I am committed to working hard and contributing to the success of any team or organization I am part of.
