About Wyatt Johnson

Wyatt Johnson is a lawyer who actually takes cases to trial. His primary field of emphasis is civil litigation involving business frauds, contract and land disputes, and fiduciary malfeasance. He has decades of experience as lead trial counsel in cases presented to juries, judges and arbitrators. He has made successful appeals to the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Idaho Supreme Court and Idaho Court of Appeals. In conjunction with his general civil litigation practice, Wyatt has turned special attention to helping sexual assault survivors regain their power. He is using his trial skills to help survivors bring claims against the institutions that conspire with and enable predators and abusers. The goal is to help survivors recover while, at the same time, dismantling the institutions that allow abuse to thrive.As a lawyer in a small market, Wyatt has necessarily developed a wide range of skills throughout his career. In addition to trial work, Wyatt has a great depth of understanding of transactions involving real estate and related business ventures. He has extensive experience appearing before city, county and state agencies. Wyatt lectures frequently and has published articles about litigation and real estate related issues. He also stays active with local professional organizations. He is a past president of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association; has served as Chairman of the Litigation Section of the Idaho State Bar; and served on the Supreme Court\'s Advisory Committee on the Idaho Rules of Evidence.Outside of his professional pursuits, Wyatt donates much of his time to community organizations. He is the 20••••24 chairman (\"Kingfish\") of the Arid Club, a historic Idaho city club, a member of the Advisory Board for the Treasure Valley West YMCA, and a long serving member on the Board of Idaho Smart Growth, a non-profit promoting community livability.
