ABOUT WYATT EGLINTON MANNER
I’m a Johns Hopkins University student pursuing a B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics with a Business minor, passionate about leveraging quantitative skills to solve real-world problems in finance and technology. With coursework spanning Python, Linear Algebra, and Cryptography, I bring an analytical and data-driven approach to everything I do.As a varsity point guard for Hopkins Men’s Basketball, I’ve learned to thrive under pressure, contribute 30+ hours a week to a nationally ranked program, and lead on and off the court. I’m also a Mental Health ambassador and Captain\'s Cohort member, promoting athlete well-being, and I serve as an Executive & Team Lead for HopThon, helping raise record-breaking funds for cancer research.Beyond athletics, I’ve explored finance through active participation in my school’s Stock Market club in high school. In college, I also participate in Investment Club meetings and have developed a growing interest in venture capital, inspired by hands-on experience analyzing financial statements and market trends. I’m especially excited about opportunities that combine my quantitative background, leadership experience, and curiosity for markets and startups.Passionate about teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous learning, I’m eager to connect with professionals in finance, data analytics, and venture capital as I explore career pathways that merge math, business, and innovation.
