Significant classroom time is dedicated todiscussing methods, interpreting results, and debating conclusions. The class includes guestspeakers from relevant weather impacted industries and the Rutgers Business School.• Developed a Subseasonal Forecast Contest for the purpose of bridging the gap inuniversity and industry.• Developing a new mentorship platform (“Knowledge Exchange”) with the goal to maximizethe learning potential of every student.
