About Bill Stark
I\'ve spent roughly 20 years in clean energy. Mostly operational roles. I like building systems that work and teams that scale. We have roughly 25 years until we reach 2050 and so many climate benchmarks that seem to matter. We\'re also in the early innings of the greatest technology-driven transformation in human history. I\'ve had the luxury of being able to invest deeply in understanding what tools I\'ll need and what skills I should build to make the biggest impact over that horizon. So that\'s what I\'ve done and continue to do. I got serious about AI: not the theory, but the practice and application of this rapidly evolving set of technologies and capabilities. I build things with it daily including software, physical parts, content workflows, and personal systems for myself, friends and family. Currently deep in a portfolio of projects that sit at the intersection of AI and climate. My background is math and physics (Vanderbilt) and an MBA (Duke). I think in systems and I like solving problems that sit at the intersection of technology and operations. I\'m continuing to evolve how I apply the best technology and solutions to the problems that matter most. Ideally where AI meets climate, which is where I\'ve spent my career and where I believe my leverage is greatest.
