Specific duties include the development and retention of our ~1,660 engineers (software, systems, security, hardware, network, and test), the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and processes across our engineering lifecycle, the instantiation of model-based engineering techniques and tools, global technology management and innovation, enterprise standards and approved products, long-range strategic planning, sector research and development, enterprise architecture and roadmaps, strategic supplier relationships, and our Engineering Program Excellence initiative. I serve on the Corporate Engineering Council representing the Enterprise Services Sector.
