Based in Asia for 30 years, I have been able to learn from the ground up what it takes to fully understand the culture here and have accomplished multiple product launches on a global basis. Establishing the Shenzhen R&D Center back in 2002 and becoming the Managing Director of that facility was one of my greatest achievements.Having Harvard Business School\'s \"Case Study\" on myself and my business activities was good recognition of the entrepernerial drive that is part of my DNA.Running the Imaging then Consumer Electronics Division at Flextronics, the 2nd largest Electronics Manufacturer in the world with a billion dollar plus portfolio to manage was an incredible experience.Being the Co-Founder of an innovation lab in the Bay Area has given me new meaning to the world of entrepreneurship and the tech we are building is so exciting I can\'t wait to tell the world. Having the opportunity to be part of SkyBell Technologies and building on the most powerful patent portfolio in the HOME IoT space is as exciting as the first day I was involved in technology.    INSPIRED BY HIS HOLINESS POPE FRANCIS’S 2015 encyclical letter, Laudato sì: On Care for Our Common Home, The Laudato sì Challenge Foundation supports proven and scalable solutions to the global challenges set forth by Pope Francis in Laudato sì. We implement concrete solutions to care for our common home and to empower vulnerable people to change their orbit by being the protagonist in their own solution, supporting the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals of “being a human dignity narrative that leaves no one behind.” In our first year, we identified and funded 10 startup companies addressing economic opportunity, environmental sustainability and \"the future of energy\" and conducted a demo-day event, attended by roughly 400 leaders, in Vatican City.Over the past seven years, we have organized 11 global summits in Vatican City, building bridges between courageous leaders, unlikely allies from the “four legs of the stool”—the public, private, faith and academic sectors—in a spirit of solidarity and humility to advance and accelerate new, specific, measurable and time-bound “Commitments to Impact.” We engineer honest alignment between sectors so that private sector can drive economic results and the public and faith sectors can drive impact outcomes.
