TV Production, Producing, and ScreenwritingBroad set of skills have allowed me to teach TV Studio Production - where students are given hands-on experience producing in a television studio, Video Workshop - where students are given project based assignments, often working with local clients such as recently with the Valdosta-Lowndes Count Chamber of Commerce, Broadcast Script Writing - where students are taught how to format and write film production scripts, Media Ethics - where students are introduced to the concepts and applications of ethics for the modern media professional, and Media Economics and Management - where students are given an overview of economics and management of various media outlets along with the tools to begin pursuing funding for particular projects. I\'ve also taught Media Economics at the Graduate level.As we have continued to grow our program, I have helped develop our New Media Workshop - helping students learn about production in the New Media environments such as Augmented Realty. My passion has been to connect our students with professional world, which has included taking a group of students each summer to the Macon Film Festival to meet working filmmakers.
