I served in the US Army from 1974 through the mid 1980s and attained a rank of Captain. I received my MBA from the University of West Florida in 1983. I Assisted my father, Shirley Brown and his company, Brown Marine Service, Inc, a Pensacola based tugboat and barge operator for over 35 years until his death in 2005. I was the President of Brown Marine, and shared ownership of Pelicans Perch Marina & Boatyard, formerly Brown\'s Marina until 2016 when we divided our Father\'s estate assets.    Becks Lake Fish Camp, Llc

   May 2007 — Present

   It\'s a nature preserve, farm, and fish camp with the plan to develop it further in the future. I want to create a Nature \"Resort\" with Family Campgrounds with RV park & cabins plus Nature Lodge with boat ramps and fishing piers to the river. Included would be a large swimming and fishing lake with public beach where the original Becks Lake was when the sawmill was in operation back in the late 1800\'s and early 1900\'s. A nature based home community would also be part of the Nature Preserve. This would give Escambia County a fresh water outdoor activities area within easy drive of most of the population areas as well as an Eco-attraction for tourists. It\'s only about 10 miles north of I-10 off of US 29 on the Escambia River. With this video I wanted everyone to be able to see some of the beauty that\'s up the Escambia River.
