Will Cass is an experienced Asset Management and Building Services professional currently responsible for the Energy Assets IDNO team. Will previously led the Design and Network Connections functions as MU Design Manager at Last Mile Asset Management covering Electricity, Gas, Water and Heat Networks. Will has led the development of the policies governing allowances for heat pumps and electric vehicle chargers for independent distribution networks for both Last Mile and for circa 80% of new build housing in the UK through the INA Low Voltage Design Policy. Energy Assets Group invests in and maintains Meters and electricity, gas and heat distribution networks worth a billion pounds. The safe design and operation of the networks and regulatory compliance are key business risks and critical to the long term financial viability of the networks. Energy Assets adopt a significant proportion of all new networks and connections constructed in the UK.Will has extensive design and construction experience both before and after the meter spanning every sector in both the UK and Australia.
