About Daniel Worthy

I am a software engineer that wants to continuously improve my skills and build up those around me. Despite my years of experience I refuse to accept that I am an \"expert\",\"rockstar\" or \"senior\" engineer. I believe in journey over destination. I want to build cool stuff to make other people\'s jobs easier. My values start with humility, respect and trust. The rest follow what I learned in scouting. Problem solving is one of my favorite things to do. I\'m not married to any particular platform or framework, but I do feel like I\'m best at frontend web work. Long hours and no flexibility are of no interest to me. I need to be able to pick up and drop off kids at school and occasionally dip out for appointments.    Serve as FE architectural lead for a product with 2 - 3 squads of engineers- Evaluate and provide guidance on implementing new technologies- Coach and mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming and formal 1 on 1s- Provide scopes and estimates on features and enhancements to product- Develop and lead training sessions at a team and department level.
