I have dedicated my life to transforming lives & systems, blending education, criminal justice, & public service into a lifelong mission. With over 2 decades of experience, I have worked across higher education, corrections, juvenile justice, mental health, & consulting, always with a focus on empowerment, reform, & progress. Education & Expertise I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education, a Master’s in Public Administration (Justice Administration specialization), 2 Post-Master’s degrees in Adult Education and Public Safety, & dual undergraduate degrees in Political Science & Governmental Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies. Education, for me, is the key to driving meaningful change. Criminal Justice & Public Service As a Senior Correctional Officer, I trained new officers while working with a diverse prison population. Later, as a Certified Magistrate in the Commonwealth of VA, I presided over hundreds of probable cause hearings, issued warrants, and made judicial decisions shaping outcomes for countless lives—strengthening my commitment to fairness, due process, and reform. Nonprofit Leadership & Criminal Justice Reform Through my nonprofit, Worth-A-2nd-Chance, I work to reduce recidivism by equipping ex-offenders with the education, job training, and resources they need to reintegrate successfully. I understand the systemic barriers that push returning citizens toward a cycle of crime, and I aim to bridge those gaps. Consulting & Travel Services As President & CEO of Worthington Traveling and Consulting Services, I provide strategic advising and professional development. Additionally, I offer travel planning services for retreats, vacations, excursions, and conventions. As a recognized expert in Carnival Cruise and Virgin Voyages, I welcome the opportunity to help plan your next trip! Political Advocacy & Leadership Running as a candidate in a Republican district, I managed my own campaign—without a manager or team—yet secured nearly 40% of the vote. My grassroots efforts, strategic communication, and civic engagement proved that leadership isn’t about resources—it’s about vision, adaptability, and commitment.
