ABOUT MARK TANG

A proven design leader, I am at ease working with people in all functions and levels, from the front lines to the C Suite. My design experience spans B2B, B2C and retail in a variety of industry sectors including finance, media, publishing, technology and human resources. I have extensive experience in brand development/ activation and ongoing brand governance, sales enablement and conversion, employee and market communications, as well as investor relations and corporate social responsibility. Early in my career, I worked in boutique design firms which contributes to my ability to work with outside design agencies and non-designers alike. Collaboration is my superpower; as the best solutions are the product of many, not one. My unique strength is my ability to bring order and structure to a situation, with an approach that is based on understanding the business problem and intended goals. I\'m a problem solver by nature, inquisitive and action oriented, with a reputation for adding new and diverse perspectives to every challenge. Through my work, I strive to tell a strong, compelling, and memorable story that achieves brand objectives, whether in digital, video or print. My work spans traditional collateral and communications channels all the way to social media and events. I always look forward to venturing into new territories and continuously learning to expand my capabilities and creative vision.
