As a Senior Counsel in the Office of Fair Lending at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), I work on various fair lending and consumer protection matters for the CFPB. As required by Congress, our mission is to ensure that all consumers and small businesses in America have fair, equitable and non-discriminatory access to credit. I work with a very talented team of attorneys, economists and other analysts. Congress also requires our Office to collaborate with tribal, federal and state agencies, consumer advocates, industry stakeholders, and academia to promote fair lending best practices and enforce fair lending law. I rely on my 20+ years of deep experience in employment law and dispute resolution, including in the areas of litigation, investigation, compliance, and risk management to complement my work at the CFPB.
