Graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering in May 2014 to pursue a professional career in Engineering. Attending VMI, gaining valuable experiences with leadership and problem solving learned from living and striving forward with 3 roommates, morning and even formations all the while keeping a proper uniform appearance. Became the Captain of my Division I track team along with breaking 4 standing records, obtaining 3 consecutive MVP titles and a regional Outstanding Performance title all the while leading over 60 athletes to individual and team victories while maintaining a 3.00 major GPA in Civil Engineering. Completed extensive course work in the Mechanical Engineering field as well to include Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics I & II, Vibrations, Dynamics and more, this wide range of classes has provided me with a thorough foundation in principles that affect real world every day engineering problems.Proficient in Solid Works/Autocad/CATIA w LCA access, Microsoft Office/Project, Finite Element Analysis Programs/ANSYS/COMSOL, Matlab, Mathcad.In the National Guard served as a Multi Role Bridge Engineer Platoon Leader. Completed the Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC), Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC), Air Assault School, and commissioned through ROTC at VMI.
