ABOUT JASMINE WONG

Everyone has that friend that makes the dinner reservations and organizes the vacations with google docs. Bonus points if that person is early or on time. That friend is me. Professionally, that translates to expertise in implementing, standardizing, optimizing and organizing information, processes, systems, and people. I am a people, project, and operations manager who spent 4 years in the supply chain management industry managing cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, auditing and reporting, and learning and development. Led teams of up to 30 through organizational change. In 2020, I pivoted to working in healthcare as an operations manager. Passionate about healthcare access and improving social determinants of health, I transitioned to working in health equity as a program manager, where I implemented initiatives that advance equity in the health innovation ecosystem, like creating a toolkit to help developers prioritize equity in their product development life cycles. I am in a unique position to leverage my health equity and operational excellence experience to standardize processes, implement and manage programs and projects, and operationalize organizations focused on health equity to effectively and efficiently improve outcomes for all. I have a BA in Comparative Human Development (interdisciplinary mix of sociology, psychology and anthropology) from the University of Chicago. Outside of work, you can find me reading, biking, playing my ukulele, horseback riding, and catching up with friends over a good meal.
