I lead operations, maintenance, and engineering oversight for Versorium Energy’s generation portfolio, supporting safe, reliable, and compliant operation of utility‑scale reciprocating engine power plants.In this role, I am accountable for day‑to‑day plant performance, engineering governance, and third‑party O&M coordination, while ensuring alignment with AESO, AEUC, and applicable utility and OHS requirements in a regulated electricity environment.Key responsibilities and impact:• Provide operational leadership for dispatched generation assets, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance aligned with market and system requirements• Direct and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs through contract O&M providers to minimize downtime and protect asset life• Lead engineering coordination with external consultants on plant design reviews, upgrades, retrofits, and technology integration initiatives• Maintain oversight of electrical protection, control systems, and utility interconnections, including compliance with grid reliability and DER standards• Analyze plant operational data using SCADA and historian platforms to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement• Develop and implement operating procedures, outage management strategies, and emergency response plans• Conduct field inspections at remote facilities, supporting compliance verification, condition assessments, and on‑site technical troubleshooting• Manage third‑party budgets, invoices, and service performance to achieve cost‑effective and accountable operations• Act as a key interface with utilities, regulators, engineering firms, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersThis role combines hands‑on technical involvement with leadership, accountability, and operational decision‑making across Versorium’s growing energy platform
