As a highly flexible and determined professional, I have my eyes set on becoming proficient in cybersecurity, where I aim to protect organizations and individuals from the constantly evolving threats in the digital landscape. With my experiences in digital advertising, previous companies & my educational background, I am prepared and eager to navigate the complex challenges posed by online threat actors.With 23 years of experience in advertising, and transitioning the latter 15 years specializing in Digital Advertising, I have developed a solid foundation in risk management, user data security, and protecting identifiable information collected through online advertising. Exposure to digital & media advertising and working with Tech companies like Meta, Twitter, and Google has given me some armor, I believe it is time for me to explore the other end of the spectrum from the consumer side to the technologically heavier and more backstage side of the industry. Through my coursework and practical projects I am gaining certification, I have gained expertise in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security best practices.I have had the opportunity to develop my knowledge and skills during my career at Wavemaker, the second-largest media agency network in the world. Currently, I am taking a certification program under Google’s Cybersecurity program with a team of cybersecurity professionals and learning to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and develop incident response protocols. I also conducted security awareness training sessions to educate employees on safe digital practices and the importance of cybersecurity.My technical proficiency extends to various security tools and technologies, including intrusion detection systems, firewall configurations, and encryption protocols. I am constantly keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging threats, ensuring that my skills remain relevant and effective in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.I am seeking an opportunity to contribute my expertise and collaborate with a team of cybersecurity professionals dedicated to fortifying digital defenses.
