ABOUT WILLIAM MYHILL
William joined the Office of Diversity & Inclusion full-time in 2022. In this role he emphasizes the University going beyond compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other federal and state laws pertaining to persons with disability. For instance, he addresses the issues of University disability policies, accessible ICT procurement, student and faculty appeals regarding accommodations, and consulting across the campus on accessibility needs. William frequently provides professional development workshops on topics of inclusive presentations, rethinking and relearning disability, and reasonable accommodations. He further teaches future librarians skills, as a member of the iSchool community for effectively and intentionally working with members of the disability community.
