This mission is supported products that facilitate crop irrigation, water & sanitation security, and the transmission of data.In my role as the Global FP & A Manager I was responsible for 2 main aspects of the business: Operations & Capital Planning.Operations-Heavily involved in the full re-design of the Accounting systems within Orbia, which decided to move towards a more multi-dimensional structure to enable better analytical possibilities-Re-designed the Chart of Accounts to align with this vision -Developed a Functional Area / Cost Center structure to define the departments of the business responsbile for spending-Advisor/Approver to the S4/HANA implementation team on the best practices to use in the manufacturing processes-Worked toward alignment to the new standard within the various Business Groups.Capital Planning-Responsible for reviewing large-scale investments, providing feedback to Senior Leadership (CFO, CEO)-Developing standards for the reporting of actual & forecasted spend -Lead a project to implement a new Capital Spending Tool that combines the Approvals, Reporting, Forecasting, and Budgeting all into one Software that is used across the business, allowing for more timely analysis and prioritizations between projects.
