As a passionate and life-long hockey player, I strongly believe in the power of coaching and team participation to not only build strong athletes, but also well-rounded and productive adults.After successfully improving program enrollment, player engagement, and athlete performance for the New York Islanders National Hockey League Team, I was honored to accept the Assistant Coach position for the 20••••16 / 20••••17 season. I also work with all former New York Islander players in advanced hockey clinics that advance knowledge and performance across skating, shooting, and technical aspects of the game with a strong focus on becoming more competitive in a professional hockey career. Certified by USA Hockey to coach/instruct at all levels - from beginners to professional players - I am also one of the main instructors and supporters of implementing the USA Hockey ADM (American Development Model) program. I work with NHL players and teach instruction basics using this fantastic, highly-effective, player development program that includes: Age-appropriate, age-specific competition and training Skill development Long-term athlete development Fun, positive hockey experience Amplifies all-around athleticism Programming developed by hockey experts, sport scientists, and child development specialistsIn addition:Besa Tsintsadze- Elite skating coach instructor for NHL, AHL, Minor Pro, Major Junior, Junior, High School, and Youth Players.Worked alongside him with the junior Islanders, Gulls armature youth hockey programs.Marc Champagne- Goaltender coach in Canada, USA and Europe for over 15 years for minor hockey, junior major junior hockey and NHL. I had the privilege to work alongside him developing Peewee and bantam armature hockey teams.Armature youth hockey programs developing and teaching advance techniques of hockey clinics and coaching with Arron Miles Asham (NHL) and Radek Martinek (NHL).
