About Zhizhi Wang
I currently serve as the Executive Director for Internationalization at the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, where I lead the college’s global engagement strategy and partnerships. My work focuses on building meaningful international collaborations, expanding global recruitment networks, and creating opportunities that connect students and institutions across borders.Since joining the University of Kentucky as a student in 2013 and later as staff in 2021, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the university’s international growth, from coordinating global marketing and recruitment strategies to developing partnership programs in China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Oman, Colombia, Brazil, Camerron, Keyna, Senegal, Nigeria, and beyond. I’m fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Cantonese. My bicultural background and passion for higher education have allowed me to bridge cultures and support students and institutions in achieving shared academic goals.I earned both my Master of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics. I’m also a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) and hold certificates in Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking and Global Commerce and Strategy from World Trade Center. I\'m also a member of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, Alpha Kappa Psi and Omicron Delta Kappa, and an alumnus of Leadership Louisville Center’s Ignite Louisville Class of Spring 2018.
