As Senior Manager and EY Canada’s National Lead for Model Modernization & Enterprise Risk Quantification (ERQ), I drive the transformation of model ecosystems across financial institutions, helping clients modernize their model lifecycle, elevate governance, and strengthen decision-making across Risk, Finance, and Data functions.I lead multi-disciplinary teams (Technology, Data & Analytics, FSRM) to design and deliver integrated solutions that align regulatory expectations with practical implementation. I work closely with CFO, CRO, CTO, CDAO, CAE and senior business executives to shape strategy, accelerate transformation, and unlock value from modeling, AI, and analytics investments.Key Responsibilities & Impact • Lead EY’s national Model Modernization & ERQ offering, shaping vision, strategy, and go-to-market for enterprise model transformation. • Modernize the full model lifecycle — development, validation, governance, deployment, monitoring — with a focus on risk, finance, and AI/ML use cases. • Build integrated Risk–Finance–Data operating models, improving efficiency, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional decision-making. • Advise on Model Risk Management (MRM), helping clients strengthen controls, documentation, tiering, and validation practices under evolving regulatory standards. • Oversee strategic model development programs, including regulatory credit models, IFRS 9, transition matrices, and scenario analytics. • Steer AI/ML governance modernization, integrating responsible AI and automated model lifecycle controls. • Coach and lead national teams, building capabilities in model engineering, governance technology, and enterprise risk quantification. • Serve as industry thought leader, speaking at national conferences and leading executive roundtables on model lifecycle modernization, OSFI themes, AI governance, and ERQ.
