I am an AI Tech Lead with 10+ years of experience. I am excited about building the next generation of (multimodal) language models! I currently lead a research program focused on building models that think before they speak, and reason before they act. Recently, I\'ve helped ship some of Microsoft\'s flagship LLMs for healthcare.Over the past few years, I explored the intersection between consciousness in the human brain and LLMs. I\'ve previously spent time under AI godfather Yoshua Bengio (Turing Award 2018) at Mila, leading several projects around cognitively-inspired (System 2) architectures for reasoning. On the side, I love speaking. Recent invited talk venues/conferences include Google\'s TensorFlow World, Stanford University, Google TensorFlow Summit in Montreal, and Google Cloud Next (demo).
