Custom Fabricator responsible for prototyping, construction and onsite installation of intricate, interlocking exhibit components using a variety of materials, including wood, non-wood, and other specialized materials. Requires a combination of carpentry, metalworking, and finishing skills to create durable and aesthetically pleasing exhibits. Apply finishes to exhibit components, including painting, staining, and sealing, to achieve desired aesthetics and durability. Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy, adjusting as necessary to meet design specifications. Projects included:1. Oklahoma Salt Flats State Park - Served as key team member in the replacement and installation of updated interpretive exhibits, including a large-scale, multi-component diorama highlighting the region’s ecological and historical significance. Kindercare (Nationwide Rollout)- Collaborated in the engineering and fabrication of a modular, repeatable exhibit system (“Spanish Speaking Wall”) for early learning environments. Led prototyping and fabrication for a five-site, small-batch rollout designed for efficient two-person installation. Integrated mechanical interactivity and tactile learning elements. Locations included North Carolina (2x), South Caroline, Kansas and Utah. Angel Mounds State Historic Site (Indiana)- Executed a three-week installation of prefabricated exhibit components, including custom walls, artifact cases, and interpretive graphics. Coordinated with artifact conservation teams to ensure proper fit and protection of sensitive materials in a newly renovated museum space.(The large residential and agricultural community was constructed and inhabited from AD 1100 to AD 1450, and served as the political, cultural, and economic center of the Angel chiefdom. It extended within 120 miles (190 km) of the Ohio River valley to the Green River in present-day Kentucky.)
