ABOUT WINN CUI

My passion lies in the creative process. Whether it be improving and optimizing existing structures, designing and building systems from the ground up, constructing frameworks of thought, or synthesizing new areas of intellectual exploration— I find all such, and related, endeavors to be extremely fascinating. Reasoning from first-principles and sound foundations, I have developed and honed strategies to manage complexity, extract commonalities, and handle information overload— all of which helped me earn four degrees from UC Berkeley in the fields of Computer Science, Data Science, Cognitive Science, and Molecular and Cell Biology (with an emphasis in Immunology). Having experience in both the tech sector of the SF Bay Area, as well as the biotech sector in San Diego, I am applying my knowledge and skills to explore the interdisciplinary cross-sections that lie between the fields of software engineering, AI/ML, education, health, and design.
