ABOUT PETRA WINKLER
As a PhD scientist with in total more than 25 years of experience, including five as a DGK and VUB certified safety assessor for cosmetics, I am deeply passionate about science and health. My work at J&J/Kenvue allowed me to successfully coordinate large projects with international teams to develop innovative solutions. Over the last 17 years, I have contributed to departments such as Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology/Safety, and Product Development. My achievements include developing, validating, and transferring test methods to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance, as well as co-developing patented products like o.b. ExtraProtect and o.b. Period underwear. I take on responsibility with energy and precision, motivating my team through enthusiasm and clear communication. My love for discovering new cultures and culinary traditions (like to join food tours when travelling) underscores my versatility and joy in life, positively impacting collaborations across diverse international teams. I am proud to contribute my expertise to well-known brands, creating enduring value and making a positive impact. I am looking forward to connect with colleagues in a similar field for professional exchange and future Nobel Prize winners for inspiration
