   CORPORATE SERVICES AND FACILITIES DEPARTMENT PROCUREMENT OFFICER(OVERSEAS) Successfully provides procurement services for the global IMF Resident Representative Program. Provides guidance to project staff on finance and procurement matters relating to the project, in order to ensure proper application of Procurement Guidelines and Procedures. Assists clients with RFI / RFPs and actively competes, bids, negotiates, executes and measures performance of global contracts. Develops procurement plans with key clients at IMF to align with the IMF’s strategies and goals. Collaborates with area budget officers for the IMF’s 100+ global Resident Representative offices. Conducts background research, analysis and evaluation of various aspects of departmental projects. Analyzes and manipulates data streams in order to determine superior make and buy decisions. Works with clients to better understand spend by commodity and category, and provide a basis for identifying potential savings opportunities. Carries out day to day tracking and operational tasks required to manage the procurement policy activities associated to the program. Collaborates, provides feedback and reports on progress to business users, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending solutions. Builds and maintains global market and supplier knowledge in assigned areas, and continuously improves knowledge base. Assists the Area Budget Officers with issues and recommendations.
