Of Pharmaceutical Edn & Research (NIPER) SAS Nagar, Moahli Since July 2011 Being a Statutory appointment, acting as secretary to Board of Governor and member secretary to Finance committee, senate, Laboratory services, building & works committee, besides chairman and member of various institutional committees.Responsible for convening of the meetings of such committees, drafting & circulating minutes, keeping records thereof and conduct official correspondence.Custodian of records, common seal, funds and property of the institute.Being head of the administration, responsible to Director and ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the various Administrative wings such as Administration (Establishment, Recruitment, Legal, General Administration) Finance and accounts, Store and Purchase, Academic and Examination, Security, Guest House and Engineering Wing of the institute.Render advice to governing bodies, other committees and director upon various administrative and other policies. Responsible for preparation of annual budget and accounts and their presentation before Finance committee and Board of Governor. Also to ensure audit by CAG and subsequently accounts are laid in parliament through government.Exercise general supervision over the funds of the institute and perform financial functions for recurring and non recurring expenditure and utilisation of the moneys including investments.Arrange for, superintend conduct of examinations. Also conduct of all India entrance examination and admission process.Represent and defend institute in various suits or proceedings by ot against the institute and verify pleadings. Act as CVO (Vigilienece officer) and Appellate authority for RTI.Any other duty as assigned by the Director, BOG or other statutory committee.
