This includes e.g. •Writing of technical & financial proposals, development of project set-up & approach in complex and diverse environments•Experience with different donors (EuropeAid, EU, EIB, EBRD, KfW, GIZ, DEG, ADB, UNEP)•Contract negotiations with donors, partner companies, sub-consultants & clients•Backstopping/Project Management as Team Leader and/or Project Director•Leading teams of up to 14 international & local staff•Liaison with project stakeholders•Presentation of project goals & outcomes•Controlling, Financial planning, Budget discussion, Reporting, Cost benchmarking, Management of demands, Project monitoring•Development of Access-based databases for improved acquisition•Improvement of internal document storage and procedures for acquisitionThe areas of focus of the consulting activities are -Assessment and monitoring of the development of water and wastewater utilities using key performance indicators-Performance Improvement of water/wastewater utilities-Audit of contract fulfillment based on KPIs and on-site audit missions-Customer service / customer satisfaction surveys-Development of information materials / development & implementation of information campaigns for water/sewerage companies-Development of educational material on water/wastewater (e.g. “Nurak” children’s booklet series on water/health issues in Tadjikistan)-Personnel development/capacity building/training for water/sewerage companies, and the implementation of appropriate training-Stakeholder participation / water user committees -Socio-economic surveys Work-related experience among others in Albania, Armenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Mexico, Montenegro, Syria, Tajikistan, and Uganda
