Spearheaded data acquisition by configuring an Orion BMS 2 using a CANdapter to transmit sensor values such as battery temperature, voltage, and current draw to an InfluxDB database for post-race assessment.• Employed UART between Teensy 4.0 (fault board) and Raspberry Pi 4 to display fault states on the dashboard.• Implemented pull-up and pull-down resistors in C++ for throttle sensors to comply with FSAE rules and revised APPS code to accurately measure throttle position.• Integrated a hardware watchdog timer (WDT) on the Teensy 4.1 for fault-detection by monitoring 5+ live sensor updates using a FreeRTOS thread, resetting the system upon system failure.
