Installation and Maintenance: Install, commission, and maintain substation equipment, protective relay and control systems, station metering, and SCADA systems, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and work procedures.• Testing and Commissioning: Perform comprehensive testing, commissioning, and approval of substation distribution equipment, protection and control systems, and communication systems, including infra-red inspections and troubleshooting of equipment failures.• Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete, maintain, and update work orders, engineering drawings, reports, and documentation related to substation operations and maintenance activities.• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and practices, participate in risk reduction planning, and ensure compliance with Toronto Hydro’s internal policies, including mandatory vaccination requirements.• Teamwork and Problem Solving: Collaborate effectively with various departments, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and show leadership in promoting team morale and productivity.
