About Will van Pelt
I\'ve spent my career taking on problems I wasn\'t initially qualified to solve and figuring them out anyway. My software development experience spans healthcare, fintech, automotive supply chain, and robotics. A common thread through all of this has been building systems from the ground up. I gravitate toward first principles, and strive to understand a system holistically before adding complexity. I recently completed Cornell\'s Designing and Building AI Systems program, and my focus now is building AI systems that are genuinely useful by extracting real value through thoughtful engineering of context, tooling, and retrieval.
