ABOUT WILL TASHO
I’m an experienced executive coach, senior talent development professional and business psychologist by training, with 25 years of combined consulting and in-house experience. My first career in corporate banking in the City of London gave me valuable finance knowledge and experience and embedded a strong focus on commercial impact. Building on this finance experience I transitioned my career to become a business psychologist. For the last 15 years I have held senior global responsibility for leadership development within FTSE-listed companies. My expertise and experience: coaching senior executives (including C-Suite); designing, managing, and facilitating global leadership development programmes; advising on, designing and implementing succession planning processes; creating leadership frameworks; and utilising a diverse range of assessment tools to identify and nurture talent. The impact of my work with individual leaders has supported them to unlock their potential, optimise their performance and help them to be more aware of their innate humanity and how this influences their leadership approach, consciously or otherwise. Leading, or in other words getting people to achieve a common purpose, is a moral activity (i.e. that\'s not about being moralistic, but instead about how we lead other humans, how we make decisions etc). For me, how one\'s humanity manifests itself day-to-day is a crucial ingredient affecting the building of trust, motivation and whether others are inspired to follow the leader and perform at their best. The impact of my work with organisations has enabled them to manage risk and make better informed decisions about leadership potential/placement, development investment, and enhance performance, all aligned with respective commercial strategies, values and desired behaviours. This has intentionally shaped the climate and culture of these businesses. SPECIALISMS:* Executive Coaching: supporting C-Suite leaders, partners, and next-generation leaders globally and locally* Leadership Development Programmes: diagnostics, design (ensuring accessibility and relevance for all employees and promotion of inclusive leadership practices), resourcing, facilitation & management * Succession Planning: practical and pragmatic guidance for CEOs/HRDs, process facilitation, design & execution* Psychometric Assessment: for development and selection* Team Development
