ABOUT WILLIAM HOLMES

With over 28 years of work experience, I am a seasoned training and quality manager with a passion for delivering high-quality education and training programs that support NATO\'s strategic objectives and operational capabilities. I have a Master of Arts in Management and a Professional Manager certification from the Community College of the Air Force. I also have expertise in Spanish, having graduated from the Defense Language Institute and served as a cryptologic linguist for the US Air Force for 20 years. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the NSPA team, as well as a strong commitment to excellence, collaboration, and innovation.As the Training And Quality Manager at NSPA, I provide quality assurance and oversight for the execution of 6.3 million Euros in training contracts supporting 72 separate training courses for eight squadrons in two wings comprising 600 personnel. I coordinated with three NATO agencies and nine corporate partners to ensure on-time delivery of seven training gap analysis reports. I also manage the ILIAS learning management system (LMS) and lead the migration and implementation of 30+ training courses to the electronic domain. Some of the skills that I use in my current role include workshop facilitation, organizational leadership, and LMS management. I am always looking for new ways to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs and to ensure customer satisfaction.
