ABOUT WILLJUICE IRUTHAYARAJAN M

Dr. M. Willjuice Iruthayarajan has completed his B.E.(Electrical and Electronics Engg.) degree in Government College of Engineering, Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, in 1996 and the M.E.(Control and Instrumentation) degree in College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai in 1998. From January 2007 to June 2010, he did his Ph.D research in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, Anna Univeristy, Chennai. He has worked more than 20 years of teaching in Engineering Institutions and research. Currently he is working as Professor and Head in department, National Engineering College. He has attended various workshop for Outcome based Education. He has implemented Outcome Based Education in the department of National Engineering College. He is a Senior member of (Control System, Computational Intelligence Society, Systems, Man and Cybernetics and Signal Processing Society), Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education, Instrument Society of India, System Society of India, Soft Computing Research Society and Fellow Member of Institution of Engineers (India). He is also secretary in CIS Madras Chapter. He has published more than 50 papers in International Journals in the area of evolutionary optimization and applications. His research interests are Control System, Evolutionary algorithms applications to Engineering Optimization problems and Machine Learning algorithms. He has organized many no. of workshops, seminars and conferences. He has also delivered guest lectures in the area of Evolutionary Optimization Techniques and its applications to Electrical Engineering. He has completed an AICTE-RPS sponsored project as Principal Investigator and IE(I) project. Under his supervision, 10 scholars have completed their Ph.D. work in Anna University, Chennai.
