The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena.\"-Theodore RooseveltAt my heart, I am a kid from Burlington, North Carolina who grew up infatuated with sports and always impersonated Tyler Hansbrough and David Ortiz in the neighborhood cul-de-sac.Through stories and strong inspirations like my childhood role models, I have always wanted to serve and inspire others by being a positive life force.From leading Carolina Fever, volunteering at UNC Hospital, providing services to multiple nonprofits or actively promoting equality, serving others and building relationships is one of my passions.My path at UNC is anything but comfortable and linear. Still, I wouldn\'t have it any other way. I changed my major three times and always tried to expand myself in club and volunteer involvement. Challenging environments bring the best out of me. I am an alumnus of the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill and recently became a double-tar heel by completing my Master of Accounting Degree in the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Chapel Hill provided the academic foundations to expand myself creatively and technically. I discovered outlets to express my passions through beneficial involvement to the community. I may not be the kid playing in the cul-de-sac anymore, but I hope to leverage my technical accounting skills and create compelling stories that inspires the kid in all of us.
