With nearly ten years of experience in the tech industry, I\'m a full-stack engineer who loves to solve complex problems and learn new things.In the past few years I\'ve built a digital archive for the multimedia artist Meredith Monk, wrote a composable algorithm to select the optimal stems to construct a real-time ambient music composition, re-platformed legacy PHP and Rails systems on a Terraformed ECS infrastructure, and helped a small business untangle a complex web of microservices sharing a single database to simplify their stack and save money on software licenses, maintenance, and hosting.These days my preferred stack is full-stack TypeScript (Next.js on the frontend and Express.js on the backend) with a PostgreSQL database, but I have experience working in a variety of languages (Haskell, Elm, Ruby on Rails, Swift, Java), and I\'m comfortable picking up whatever technology a situation calls for.
