Provides the clinical supervision to all staff in the program on at least monthly basis. Provides direct individual supervision to the Milieu Coordinators and Clinical Case Manager assigned to the home on a regular basis. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding• Maintain overall responsibility for all aspects of the residential and clinical care provided to the youth in the home and ensuring all safety protocols are followed through monitoring and supervision of staff and clients• Ensure that the program operates within the fiscal requirements designated by agency leadership and maintains all petty cash functions• Regularly evaluate program performance and leads performance improvement activities within the program as identified by Division Leadership and provide written reports• Ensure a therapeutic environment that emphasizes the physical and emotional safety of youth that reside in the program. Provide therapeutic and skill building interventions, as dictated by the youth’s individualized treatment plan, in an individual and group based setting• Oversee and support management staff to ensure proper staff coverage, effective service delivery to youth, proper use of the Therapeutic Crisis-Intervention model, documentation, maintenance of facility, and DCFS licensing, Agency and Joint Commission standards are met
