About William Verthein
I like to break things….then rebuild them and make them more secure. My passion is cybersecurity and the everchanging technology affected by it. I solve complex technical problems to help organizations secure their networks, infrastructure, and applications. I’m also driven to help people protect their own data and privacy through phishing and scam awareness, cybersecurity best practices, and education. From enterprises protecting their assets, to my own mom calling to say, “my printer won’t print”, I’m here to serve.As an engineer, I have experience evaluating the security posture of a wide variety of technologies including Active Directory, Web Application Firewall (WAF) capabilities, VMware infrastructure, radio access networks, Kubernetes, server infrastructure, applications, enterprise backups, and sensitive/critical systems and data.As a servant leader, I support my team members in any way I can by clearing hurdles or roadblocks, and helping each other succeed in their goals.
