About William T. Vazquez

I’m William Vazquez and I’m licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia.Since Fall 2023, I have been practicing family law and have been handling divorce, custody, support, protective order, and other matters.I have previously worked on environmental pollution, deceptive business practice, privacy law consumer class actions, asylum, and international human rights-related matters. My work related to prisoners’ rights during 3L was particularly impactful and has led me to advocate in Virginia and at the federal level for incarcerated folks’ rights.In my spare time, I work with a local Alexandria church group to find ways to address systemic racism at the local, state, and federal levels through education, volunteering, and advocacy. In the last few years, I rediscovered a love of building LEGO sets, so if you get me on a video chat, expect to see some in the background. I’ve also gotten into birding.
